Suzanne
Owner/Nail Technician
Suzanne is a lifelong resident of the Blue Water Area. She has been happily married to her husband Jason for twenty-eight years and has two daughters, Loren and Chloe. Suzanne has been a nail tech for twenty years, she attended Port Huron Cosmetology College as well as St. Clair County Community College. She previously owned Escape Nail Salon, worked at Elite Expressions, and most recently worked at Spa 223. She decided to open a spa in November of 2020 because she saw a need for a place where people could come to relax and enjoy some time away from the stressors of everyday life. She envisioned Spa Blu to have a resort feeling; and to showcase the spa as a fixture of Port Huron, a beach resort town with beautiful blue water.
Emily
Nail Technician
Emily is a devoted mother of three boys, Bryce, Tanner, and Conner. She has been a nail tech for six years. She attended Blue Water Cosmetology School after being a stay-at-home mom to her boys for thirteen years. She worked for Roots in St. Clair for two years and most recently worked at Spa 223 for the last year before the opening of Spa Blu. Emily is a football mom, wine enthusiast, and is looking forward to doing more traveling in her spare time. Her favorite service offered at Spa Blu is the pedicure, she loves the smile put on her clients faces when their feet feel happy. She is excited to be a part of her life-long friend’s (Suzanne) business and is committed to helping her clients feel at home, and relaxed.
Cadie
Massage Therapist/Nail Technician
Cadie holds a dual position at Spa Blu! As a massage therapist of four years and student of physical therapy, she has studied the human body for over five years. She attended Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage, Macomb Community College and is currently enrolled at Oakland University for Physical Therapy. It is her promise to leave her clients feeling confident in the touch of her hands. Young and ambitious, she also holds the position of a nail technician. She takes pride in making sure her clients leave her chair feeling refreshed and beautiful.
Stefan
Massage Therapist
Stefan is happily married to his wife Claire, and enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and playing guitar. He has been professionally practicing massage for seven years with a focus in myofascial and deep tissue techniques. He attended Lakewood School of Therapeutic Massage and has been working in the greater Port Huron area since. Stefan’s services often include hot stones as well as essential oils to soothe and relax his client’s body and mind.
Dina
Cosmetologist/Esthetician
Dina has been in the salon and spa industry for over thirty years and is a native to Michigan. Dina went to Hairacy II Cosmetology School and started her career in Port Huron. She later relocated to Traverse City where she owned Time for You Salon & Spa for fifteen years. Dina has two sons, Devin and Dayne who are the light of her life. Dina also spent time in Los Angeles, CA where she had the exciting opportunity as a mobile independent contractor to serve clients in the Beverly Hills/Hollywood areas, as well as spending time as a personal trainer for LA Fitness, and finally, as a notary and loan signing agent for the state of California. After time away, Dina is thrilled to be back to her roots and is looking forward to sharing her years of experience and pampering her clients. Being part of easing her clients stress, and spreading positivity are the favorite parts of her job.
Loren
Spa Administrator
Loren is Suzanne’s daughter, and is currently perusing her master’s degree in School and Community Psychology at Wayne State University. Loren has been around her mother’s profession for the majority of her life and is excited to be a part of her mother’s newest business adventure since owning Escape Nail Salon in 2001. As a student of mental health and well-being, the spa environment is one she enjoys contributing to, to make every client’s visit that of pure relaxation, and one they won’t soon forget.
